Chongzuo 2017 – First fieldtrip

The dense karst region close to Chongzuo city was the perfect location for our first fieldtrip of the project. We visited, sampled in, discussed in, sweated in and photographed nine caves of roughly the same altitude - all had been previously excavated - some had recovered Giganto material - some had not - but all are crucial for unravelling the Giganto story.
